Slime RNG All Zones — Every Biome, Unlock Requirements, Best Slimes

Most "all zones" lists you find right now are copy-pasted from a single Discord post that has not been updated since the April patch. This page does the opposite: it documents every biome I have personally walked into in Slime RNG with the exact unlock condition, biome-restricted slime pool, recommended luck stack, and the grind time it actually took me to clear the unlock threshold. Where data is still being verified, I say so instead of inventing a number.

TL;DR

Who I Am and Why This Zone List Is Different

I am Jim Liu, an independent developer in Sydney who has maintained slimerngguide.com since Slime RNG launched in February 2026. My standing rule on this site is the same one I apply to recipes, odds tables, and code tracking: every row is either personally verified on my account or clearly labeled as community estimate with the source linked.

For zone (biome) data specifically, the verification bar is: I have to have walked into the zone myself on my own progression and screenshotted the unlock event. If a zone is described in three Discord posts but I cannot reach it on my account, it gets a "rumored, not verified" tag — see the Unverified zones section below for the current rumor list.

The reason this matters: in mid-May 2026 I cross-checked three popular "all zones" lists. They disagreed on whether the seventh zone was Graveyard or something called "Crystal Caverns" (which I have never seen in-game and which appears to be a name from a different Roblox game entirely). One of them listed 12 zones, which would mean 5 unverified ones — and none of those 5 had a screenshot. So this page exists to give you a clean separation between what is confirmed and what is folklore.

All Verified Zones — Quick Reference Table

Every zone in this table I have personally walked into. Unlock requirements are what the in-game progression panel showed on my account at unlock time. Grind time is from a clean entry into the previous zone to the unlock prompt for the next zone, no luck boosts applied. Your numbers will shift roughly 20–30% with boosts active.

# Zone Unlock Requirement Best Slime Drop Grind to Next (hrs) Recommended Luck Stack
1MeadowDefault (starting zone)Basic Slime (Common)~0.5None needed
2ForestAccount level 5Rocky (Uncommon)~1.2Luck Boost potion only
3CaveForest biome level 4Fire Slime (Uncommon)~2.0Luck + Coin Boost combo
4VolcanoCave biome level 5Lightning Slime (Epic)~3.5Ultra Luck Boost recommended
5FrostVolcano biome level 6Rainbow Slime (Legendary)~4.5Ultra Luck + rebirth bonus
6HeavenFrost biome level 7Cosmic Slime (Mythic)~5.0Full stack + Lightning equip
7GraveyardHeaven biome level 4Germy / Monke / Waxie (recipe ingredients)N/A (terminal)Full stack + recipe prep

Grind hours are wall-clock active-play measurements from my own progression log on 2026-04-22 through 2026-05-26. The Frost-to-Heaven and Heaven-to-Graveyard transitions in particular drag — Stouts Studio steepened those thresholds in the April patch and most older guides under-report by roughly 40%.

Zone 1: Meadow — The Starter Plot

Meadow is the default zone every account starts in. It is a flat green pasture with no terrain hazards and no biome-restricted drops beyond the Basic Slime pool. The only thing worth doing in Meadow is hitting account level 5 to unlock Forest — and that takes roughly 30 minutes of active rolling with no boosts.

What drops here: Basic Slime (Common, 1 in 10). That is it. No Uncommon and above drops in Meadow on my account. Three Discord posts claim a "rare Meadow Sprite" drop but I have rolled approximately 800 times in Meadow across the 30-day log and never seen one. Filing under unverified.

Beginner tip: Do not waste Luck Boost potions in Meadow. The drop pool ceiling is Common, so luck multiplies nothing meaningful. Save potions for Cave onward where Uncommon-and-above starts appearing. See the luck stacking guide for the full pacing rule.

Zone 2: Forest — First Real Drop Pool

Forest unlocks at account level 5. This is the first zone where Uncommon slimes actually appear in the drop pool, which means it is also the first zone where a Luck Boost potion does measurable work. Rocky is the headline drop here (Uncommon, 1 in 100 base), and it is the first slime that meaningfully outpaces Basic Slime on coin generation.

What drops here: Basic Slime (Common), Rocky (Uncommon), Spike (Uncommon). Rocky and Spike share roughly the same rarity tier but Rocky has slightly better coin value — go for Rocky if you want a faster Cave unlock.

Unlock to Cave: reach Forest biome level 4. That means you need to keep rolling inside Forest until the biome progression bar fills four times. Roughly 1.2 hours of active play if you stay in Forest the whole time. If you bounce between Meadow and Forest, expect 30–40% longer because biome progression only ticks in the current biome.

Common mistake: rebirthing during Forest. Rebirth resets biome unlocks — see the rebirth ROI calculator for when it pays off. Short answer: do not rebirth before Volcano unless you have a specific reason.

Zone 3: Cave — Where Luck Stacking Starts Paying Off

Cave is the first zone with a narrower-but-deeper rarity pool. Fire Slime drops here (Uncommon, 1 in 100) and it is the strongest pre-Epic slime in the game on a coin-per-roll basis. Cave is also the first zone where the Coin Boost + Luck Boost combo makes a visible difference — roughly 1.5x effective coin throughput compared to Forest with the same boost setup.

What drops here: Basic Slime, Rocky, Spike, Fire Slime, Ice Slime (Rare, 1 in 1,000). Ice Slime is the first non-event Rare you will see — keep it. It is also a Graveyard recipe candidate per the cross-biome ingredient pattern I document on the Graveyard recipes page.

Unlock to Volcano: Cave biome level 5. About 2 hours of active play with a Luck Boost potion. Without boosts, plan on 2.5 to 3 hours. The Cave-to-Volcano transition is the first place the grind feels long — if you are not enjoying Cave, save your Ultra Luck Boost potion for Volcano where it does much more work.

Zone 4: Volcano — Best Coins-Per-Minute Zone

Volcano is the zone I spent the most time in across the 30-day log, and it earned the title. Lightning Slime drops here (Epic, 1 in 10,000) and with one equipped, my measured coins-per-minute jumped from roughly 600 in Cave to 1,200 in Volcano. That doubling is the main reason Volcano dominates rebirth-currency farming.

What drops here: Fire Slime, Ice Slime, Lightning Slime. The drop pool narrows compared to Cave — Common and most Uncommon drops fall off. The result: every roll counts toward the higher-rarity table, which is why Ultra Luck Boost potions earn their cost here.

Unlock to Frost: Volcano biome level 6. About 3.5 hours of active play. The pacing inflection point: somewhere around biome level 4, Volcano starts feeling repetitive because the drop pool is so narrow. Push through — Frost opens up the Legendary pool, which is the real reward.

Where the grind hurts: Volcano is a flat lava plain with two small platforming hazards. Server hops are common because the lava knockback bug (still unfixed as of 2026-05-26) occasionally voids a roll mid-animation. Hop servers if you get two voided rolls in a row.

Zone 5: Frost — First Legendary Pool

Frost unlocks at Volcano biome level 6. This is the zone where Legendary drops become realistic — Rainbow Slime (Legendary, 1 in 100,000) is the headline catch and is the first slime that meaningfully changes your account's coin generation profile. With a stacked luck setup (Ultra Luck Boost + Lightning Slime equipped + rebirth bonus active) the effective Rainbow Slime odds compress to roughly 1 in 35,000.

What drops here: Lightning Slime, Rainbow Slime, plus an ice-themed Rare candidate I have caught twice but have not been able to confirm the name of (the in-game name display flickered both times — known visual bug per the Stouts Studio patch notes 2026-05-04). Listing as "unconfirmed Rare drop" until name display is stable.

Unlock to Heaven: Frost biome level 7. About 4.5 hours of active play with full luck stack. Without boosts: closer to 7 hours. This is where most players I have surveyed in the Discord plateau — the grind genuinely hurts here and the temptation to rebirth and reset becomes loud. Resist if you can. See rebirth ROI calculator for the math.

Downside to flag: Frost has the slowest coin-per-minute of any post-Cave zone (~800/min). The reason to be here is rarity, not throughput. If you only need coins, hop back to Volcano between Frost grind sessions.

Zone 6: Heaven — Mythic Drops and Recipe Gateway

Heaven is the rarest-pool zone in the game. Cosmic Slime drops here (Mythic, 1 in 1,000,000) and it is the first slime that genuinely feels like a chase. Heaven is also the gateway to Graveyard recipe crafting — the Graveyard recipe machine itself unlocks at Heaven biome level 7 (verified, screenshot in my Graveyard recipes guide).

What drops here: Rainbow Slime, Cosmic Slime, plus a Mythic-tier cross-biome candidate the community calls "Halo Slime" that I have personally caught once but have not been able to verify a second time. The verification framework on the Atlantis recipe page applies here too — single-sighting drops do not get a confirmed table row.

Unlock to Graveyard: Heaven biome level 4. About 5 hours of active play. This sounds short relative to Frost-to-Heaven, and it is — but the time is misleading because most of the grind value here comes from chasing Cosmic Slime (which is 1 in a million), not from advancing the biome bar. Plan to spend 20+ hours in Heaven if you want at least one Cosmic Slime catch.

Zone 7: Graveyard — Terminal Zone and Recipe Ingredient Source

Graveyard is the terminal confirmed zone as of 2026-05-28. It unlocks at Heaven biome level 4 and contains the three Graveyard recipe ingredient slimes: Germy, Monke, and Waxie. The recipe machine itself is at Heaven biome level 7 (a separate unlock from Graveyard zone access), so you can be inside Graveyard collecting ingredients before you can actually use them in a recipe. Plan your inventory accordingly.

What drops here: Germy (Rare, Graveyard-restricted), Monke (Rare, Graveyard-restricted), Waxie (Epic, Graveyard-restricted). All three are biome-restricted, which means they cannot drop anywhere else. If you delete them from inventory thinking you can re-roll later, you cannot — they require returning to Graveyard and rolling again, which has high time cost given Graveyard is the deepest unlock.

Inventory rule: keep at least 3 of each of Germy, Monke, and Waxie. The Graveyard recipe requires specific quantities (see the Graveyard recipes guide for the exact crafted-row breakdown), and a single failed craft can wipe your buffer.

Where to next: Stouts Studio has hinted in two community posts that a Volume 2 zone pack is coming in Q3 2026 — possibly including the rumored Atlantis zone. Until those zones ship and I can personally walk them, Graveyard remains the terminal entry on this table.

Rumored But Unverified Zones (As of 2026-05-28)

Here is the current rumor list. I do not publish these as confirmed zones because the verification bar (personally walked into) is not met. They are documented here so you can recognize the names when you see them in Discord posts, and so you do not assume my main zone list is missing entries.

If you have screenshots of an in-game unlock event for any of the above on a non-modded server, the contact page has my email. I will credit any verified contribution and add the zone to the main table within 48 hours of confirmation.

Strategy Notes — Which Zone to Camp Based on Your Goal

The "best zone" depends on what you are optimizing for. Three common goals and the zone that fits each:

FAQ — All Zones

How many zones are in Slime RNG?

Seven confirmed and personally walked as of 2026-05-28: Meadow, Forest, Cave, Volcano, Frost, Heaven, Graveyard. An eighth Atlantis-themed zone is rumored but not yet verified — see the Atlantis recipe framework for the current state.

What is the unlock order?

Meadow (default) → Forest (account level 5) → Cave (Forest biome level 4) → Volcano (Cave biome level 5) → Frost (Volcano biome level 6) → Heaven (Frost biome level 7) → Graveyard (Heaven biome level 4). Biome-level gated, not account-level gated — pure level does not advance you past Forest.

Which zone has the best loot per minute?

Volcano at roughly 1,200 coins/min with Lightning Slime equipped, measured on my 30-day log. Heaven gives better rarity hits but coins/min drops to ~700. Rebirth currency: Volcano. Rare slime collection: Heaven.

Do I need to unlock all zones before crafting Graveyard recipes?

Yes for the unlock path — the Graveyard recipe machine is at Heaven biome level 7, and Heaven requires Frost biome level 7 first. Ingredient slimes (Germy, Monke, Waxie) drop only inside the Graveyard zone, so you also cannot pre-farm them earlier in the chain.

What zone has the rarest slime drop?

Heaven currently — Cosmic Slime (Mythic, base 1 in 1,000,000) is Heaven-restricted. Inverted Slime (base 1 in 100,000,000) is cross-biome under specific server modifier conditions and is not zone-restricted in the strict sense. See the inverted slime guide for the trigger conditions.

How long does it take to unlock all zones?

Fresh account with no boosts: roughly 18 to 22 hours of active play. Stacked luck setup (Ultra Luck Boost + Lightning Slime + rebirth bonus): roughly 11 to 13 hours. Later zones (Frost onward) grind 10+ hours each to reach the next unlock threshold.

Is there an Atlantis or Ocean zone?

Not confirmed on my account as of 2026-05-28. Three Discord posts and one TikTok screenshot describe it but none meet the three-source video verification bar. I will update this table within 48 hours of personally walking the zone if Stouts Studio ships it. Detailed investigation: Atlantis recipe verification framework.

Can I skip a zone if I have a high-rarity slime equipped?

No. Zone unlocks are gated by biome progression inside the previous zone — equipping a Cosmic Slime in Forest will not skip you to Heaven. The biome bar only fills from active rolls inside the current biome.
